I’ve never been a big Heath Ledger fan, but apparently I’m in the minority.  He has been one of the big up and coming actors for sometime, especially with his breakout role of the gay cowboy in Brokeback Mountain.

The real tragedy, of course, is that there is no evidence that I can find of Heath having any faith in Jesus Christ.  While the world mourns a talent that will never be known, we mourn a soul who rejected the forgiveness of sins, life and salvation.  Thus his death is without purpose, whether it be accidental or intentional.  It doesn’t matter if Mary Kate owned the apartment.  It doesn’t matter the cause.  What matters is whether he died in Christ, and thus far, it doesn’t look that way.

I pray I’m wrong.  But these events are all too common.  Pray that the Lord of the harvest would raise workers for His fields.
